How the School Runs

Multi-age advisories that meet weekly allow students to develop relationships with an assigned mentor staff member and other students. Together they will create supports for learning and build community

Weekly all school meetings are used to make decisions through a model democracy and build school-wide community.

Monthly one on one meetings between students and their advisory staff member help students reflect and get support with their intentions

Student formed committees to plan events, learning adventures and other school activities

Students are encouraged to solve problems collaboratively and work towards mutually agreed upon solutions
